'64 out the door

Somethin about a '64. The one thing I wish the previous owner of my house had left behind, or forgot it where it sat. Oh well, hauled it out of the yard the other day. Interior was pretty mint! Stock '64 SS ordered from the factory with a 6 in it by an old lady. Yes, thats a SS with a 6 cylinder from the factory.  Pretty sure not many with that option package.

Baby Killer

My week... Left my house at 0530 drove exactly 100 miles to work. ^^^
Here I'am in the office. ^^^ Firing boss, sneaking in some torch time...

Normal week. Apparently smoke from prescribed fires kills babies instantly or something like that. I'm sure it has no effect on me though. Anyway, I light these and put them out at work. It does NOT involve motorcycles.

Bees

So I bought a house in February. I knew there were bees in the wall when I bought it, but DAAAMN! Floor to ceiling honey comb in about a 3' section of wall. Never thought I would be sportin' a bee suit messin with these things, was kinda cool cause they couldn't get me! Pounds of honey. No I didn't eat any. Trusty shop vac came in handy for the stragglers. Shit was crazy. I didn't even start a bike this weekend...

1971 T-Bolt

This bike never "did it" for me for some reason. Traded my '58 bug for it sometime in the late 90's. J. Chomo (sp?) had it, somehow "The Toecutter" ended up with it, traded it to me, then Gormley finally got ahold of it and I think rode it around for awhile. Wonder where its at now? Anybody know what happened to J. Chomo's Bultaco? curious

Metalmucil

Metalmücil at Graham's on St. Paddy's Day, March 17 2012 from Bird Robot on Vimeo.

Friends of mine have a band called Metalmucil over near Bellingham, this clips from St. Party's Gay at Grahams in Glacier. Anyone ever see Lopez? Thom (drummer) used to play with them back when he had long hair i.e. the 90's. These guys are rad, and as you can tell by the name...dead serious. Described as stoner rock/ sleaze metal. Influences are described as "peer pressure." Interests include shooting hippies and harassing whales, or maybe the other way around I forget. Songs include "Birkenstalker" "shitwig" "sleazeporch" and "vicodin valley" among other well known favorites. They are wrapping up season two (yeah they have seasons) with a recording session. Should have a hot new laserdisc or 8 track out soon. The hessians are stoked, and some are reportedly working on new dance moves. The hitting of the bass drum from "both sides" resulted in one of these aforementioned moves. Go out and watch some live music, drink heavily, and smoke a cigarette or two. Have a good time, cause these guys sure do. Go look em up on Facebook and hit friend.

D.O.G.

My dog Ginger, been with me for almost 10 years, through thick and thin. I have left her with others many times, once for 6 months due to work, and she took me back with a smile. She had blown knees and miraculously recovered when I didn't have money for a rebuild kit for her. House defender. Truck Defender. Loves cats. In her mouth. Best dog a man could ask for. No she didn't pass on, just a well deserved salute. Pic taken by my lovely lady Monika.

My Neighborhood

is SAFE. These guys fly over my house pretty much every day, rippin' up the valley. Crazy how much power these things have, the sound is killer. Pisses the hippies off too, so thats cool.

Gonna miss these guys.

Friends taken too soon in an Avalanche this past weekend. Almost a year ago these guys were coordinating the memorial for our friend Dan that was killed the same way. Too many, too soon.

I like tacos

But not this kind! FUCK! I had to leave the Z at my old place for a bit while we moved, and the damn roof collapsed on the shed it was in. Original paint, toast. Rest of the bike is ok, started up and ran flawlessly as usual.

What if....

Free Cabin

Well not exactly. The house we're buying includes this sweet picker shack. Front door slides open, and it's actually big enough for a decent sized bed, etc. guest cabin style. Not sure what we're gonna do with it yet, garden shed, chicken coop, huge dog house, guest cabin...who knows. Was perusing Special 79 and ran across the link for Free Cabin Porn. Killer place, and maybe some inspiration for the shack.

On another note, finally got the FXRP into my shop. More to come...

Flashback Friday...Farmer!

From Critical Condition. I watched this movie so many times when it came out! Sanders' hard boots were and are still gay.

Flashback Friday

Take a few minutes and watch the whole clip. Do yourself a favor and watch the whole movie. If your impatient skip to around the 5:00 mark and check out some flat track footage. But really, watch the whole movie, repeatedly.
